Remove the top coveret. Loosen
the pcb wire connectors on the converterboard, located in the right side of
the CD player. Gently lift the converter PCB out of the player. There is no
crystal, but instead a (cheap) crystal oscillator, its a shiny metal part of
10 by 10 millimeters located midst the converter board. Remove it by heatin
two pins at the same time, and gently tot the can i little bit away from the
pcb. Change pins to heat when you have lifted it a bit, and repeat unto the
part is removed. Connect LClock Gnd (Blue twisted wire) to The PCB solder pad
in the sharp corner of the crystal unit symbol on the PCB. Connect LClock Out
(Red twisted wire) to The PCB solder pad in the opposit corner of the crystal
unit symbol. Diagonally across the gnd connection. +12 V (single red wire) is
taken on the out pin of U18, located 2 cm./ 3/4" towards the middle of
the CD player enclosure. Output is the pin closest to the transport, when the
converter PCB is fitted in the machine

Remove the top cover, remove
all screws holding the right side Circuit Board, plus the screws holding the
plugs to the rear panel. Carefully tilt the Circuit board out of the CD
player, to access the solder side. You should unplug e few of the PCB
connectors to do this. Note You how they have to be refitted. Remove X200,
and its companion capacitors C223 and C224. They are placed behind the
largest IC (Black Plastic Part) on the circuit board, marked 'DENON'. Connect
LClock Out (Red twisted wire) to the solder pad from X200, closest to the
back line out plugs. Connect LClock Gnd (Blue twisted wire) to the solder pad
from C223, closest to the right hand side of the CD player. Connect LClock
+12 (single red wire) to pin 16 of IC501, placed in teh power supply, right

Remove the top cover. Remove
the two big shiny screws with rubberfittings on the mainboard. Lift the Main
Board carefully out of the CD player, so the frontside is approximately 5 cm
over the frontpanel. Be careful that none of the many PCB connectors come off
their sockets. Remove X301, it's on the right hand side of the main PCB,
approximately 10 cm. / 4" behind the frontpanel. Remove C301 and C302.
Connect LClock Out (Red twisted wire) to the solder pad of X301, closest to
the middle of the PCB. Connect Gnd on LClock (Blue twisted wire) to C301, the
solder pad closest to the front plate. +12 V (Single red wire) is taken from
IC504 marked 7812, (mounted on a blank heatsink close to the back panel).
Connect the red wire to the right hand pin (output), when viewing the text
'7812' correctly.

Remove the top cover. Remove
the white PC Board, by unscrewing the two black screws holding it. There is
also a plastic PCB standoff, it sits next to the two large capacitor cans.
Squeeze it with a plier and gently lift the PCB out. Lift the PCB gently out,
until the rear end in elevated 8-10 cm / 4". Unmount the 3 PCB
connectors with wires going towards the rear panel, cut the cableties holding
the flat cables fixed to the CD transport. Be careful that none of the other
PCB connectors jump out of their sockets. Remove X203, its placed on the
white PC Board to the right rear side, approximately 20 cm. behind the front
panel. Remove C266 and C267. Connect LClock Out (Red twisted wire) to one of
the PCB solder pads on X203, the one closest to the edge of the PC Board.
(corresponds to pin 53 on CXD1125). Connect Gnd on LClock (Blue twisted wire)
to C266, the PCB solder pad closest to the rear panel. +12 v (Red single
wire) Is taken from IC252 mrk. 7805, (it is placed on a black heat sink close
